Last year, i have been to Spain~!!
At that time, i was on vacation for 60 days.
So, i have planed my trip schedule.
But i was a student who had little money.
I couldn’t go to various cities such as London, Paris, Rome etc.
My friends who have been to Europe recommended me to go Spain~
So. I decided to go Spain for 10 days.
Now, I introduce my best places of Spain.
Of these today, The Proud of Catalonia “Sagrada Familia” .
Spain was the best place to travel because of weather and climate, cheap product price, kind.
Climate of Spain was very nice!! always warm without moisture in summer and not chilly in winter.
And Product price was very cheaper than other Europe countries such as meal and cigar.
London, Paris, Geneva was very expensive.
And Spain people was very kind.
when i was looking for my hotel, every host came to meet me.
So, these kindness made me remind of Spain again.
My first destination was Barcelona.
Barcelona is in Catalonia area.
Spain is divided of various area such as Catalonia and Madrid, Basque, Andalucia.
Especially, Madrid and Barcelona are very competitive.
When we see the match of Real Madrid vs FC Barcelona in Primera Liga, we can know it easily.
So, When i have been to Sagrada Familia, most of the people said this architecture is our Catalonia own.
Besides, this architecture can build through only offertory.
Of course, offertory is based on Catalonia people’s fund.
Sagrada Familia has been starting by Antoni Gaudi, popular architecture artist.
Construction was started in 1882 and now processing.
Catalonia people predict that completion of building is 2030.
But because of 2008 economy crisis, completion of architecture is delayed.
I was surprised at Gaudi’s thinking that should build an architecture for 150 years.
Generally, human want them to complete everything and die. But he didn’t.
Sagrada Familia is consist of facade and campanile, inner part, crypt.
Facade is decoration of door that was painted life of Jesus.
There are 4 facade in Sagrada Familia
Facades are in east and west, south.
Gaudi made only east door,” birth facade” and he died.
In facade, there is a magic square. sum of width and length is all 33.
33 means dead age of Jesus.
When i saw this building, i felt it was strange because see above picture!! it seem like melting by lava.
But i could know true.
Gaudi would like to express natural friendship.
So he expressed paradox of gravity by loosing rope and nature by tolling bell by wind.
18 campaniles are consist of 12 disciples and 4 gospels, Maria, A top of Jesus.
Inner part of Catholic church was very beautiful.
In Bible, God is expressed by light.
So, Gaudi really reflected this thought.
He was christian and very popular to many riches because he was very brilliant expert to build an architecture.
So, He earned much money.
But, he would like to build his masterpiece.
He spent his time to build this building for all life.
As a result, He spent much money and was poor person. But he didn’t give up.
Eventually, He was met with an train accident and he was dead.
Every Catalonia people cherished the memory of Gaudi.
And Gaudi is laid to rest in crypt.
He also have proud of Catalonia person.
He told “i am Catalonia person not Spain”
If you have a chance to visit here, you should not tell it architecture of Spain.
